Two injured as car falls down cliff

A driver and his passenger are recovering after being injured when their car fell down an 11-metre cliff on Sunday afternoon in Paphos.

The two people, a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman had rented the car and were driving on a dirt road near Inia when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell down the cliff.

Both were injured by the fall and taken to Paphos hospital where they are being treated for fractures.

The causes of the accident are under investigation.
