A new collection of paintings

The latest exhibition to join a busy spring line-up is a painting exhibition at Nicosia’s Opus Gallery 39 by Anastasios Motitis.

Opening on Monday, the exhibition will last until April 20 and will see Motitis, after 11 solo exhibitions and numerous groups ones, present his new body of work.

“My most recent work aims,” says the artist “at beginning from the ‘form’ of colour as it emerges through light (feeling, sentiment, ‘heart’), and subtly embracing the design (thought, perception, ‘mind’), to arrive through a spontaneous painting process to a visual memory, imagination (‘painting’).”
