Arrests after duty free tobacco found

Police arrested three men, aged 34, 32 and 20, in Limassol on Sunday evening after a huge amount of duty free tobacco was found in their possession.

The officers stopped a car in which the three men were travelling following a tip off at 7pm.

In the vehicle they found 89 kilos of Nargile tobacco, 20 packs of cigarettes and €2,135 in cash, all of which were seized.

The suspects are expected to appear in court later.
