President Nicos Anastasiades had a bilateral meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan in Amman on Sunday, where he briefed him on the latest developments in the Cyprus problem.
Anastasiades was in Jordan for a trilateral between Greece, Cyprus and Jordan.
He was welcomed by a military guard of honour.
Anastasiades informed the Jordanian king about his meetings with UN envoy Jane Hall Lute and attempts to set terms for the restarting of negotiations.
King Abdullah was then to have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras.
