Woman spotted floating in sea off Timi is identified (Updated)

The body of a woman was found floating in the sea in the Timi area of Paphos Tuesday morning.

The woman was spotted by tourists some 180 metres from the coast.

Police pulled the woman from the water and transported the body to Paphos general hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.

The woman was later identified as being Russian aged 45, a permanent resident of Limassol.

According to CNA, she was reported missing by her daughter on Monday evening.
