Screen grab: Kitas Weather

Heavy rain and hail have been reported all around Cyprus on Tuesday morning, with the biggest problem being in Limassol, where roads have been flooded.

Snow has fallen in the Troodos mountains.

Meanwhile, lightning caused damage to the Vassilikos power plant, resulting in power cuts. https://cyprus-mail.com/2019/04/16/major-malfunction-causes-widespread-power-cuts/

The highest temperature will be just 17C inland, well below the seasonal average.

More rain is expected in the afternoons of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, mainly inland and in the mountains.

Temperatures will rise slightly on Wednesday and will remain at the same levels on Thursday and Friday.
