UCY workshop on the future of automation

Keynote speaker: Harry Patrinos

The Centre for Entrepreneurship (C4E) of the University of Cyprus with the support of PwC Cyprus have announced the organisation of the fourth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum: ‘4th Industrial Revolution: Technology and Society’ (IEF 2019) that will take place at the University of Cyprus on Friday, April 19 from 9.30am until 3pm.
IEF 2019 will highlight research results with a potential for market exploitation and/or societal impact and celebrate entrepreneurial success, by awarding individuals or teams that excelled in innovative entrepreneurship in Cyprus or abroad.
It is expected to bring together multidisciplinary knowledge from researchers, professionals, industry and business leaders and successful entrepreneurs seeking for potential research, economic and technological synergies. At the same time the 4th Forum will also showcase the best ideas and innovations developed by the University of Cyprus students through their studies but also through their personal efforts.
Keynote speaker is Harry Anthony Patrinos, World Bank executive and expert in all areas of education, especially school-based management, demand-side financing and public-private partnerships. Patrinos will talk about ‘The Future of Automation and Its Implications for Educational Systems’ currently α highly topical issue.
