Tourist arrested after using stolen credit card to pay bill

A 29-year-old tourist who paid for a hotel stay in Ayia Napa with two stolen credit cards was arrested shortly after midnight on Friday.

The woman paid €2,900 for a room in which she stayed from May 6 until May 16 with one card online when making the reservation and for additional expenses of €1,970 with another card.

She is expected to be remanded in court on Friday.
