Remand after man fires gun in nightclub (Updated)

Nightclubs reopen today, but scenes like this are not allowed

The Limassol court on Monday remanded a 33-year-old resident of Limassol who reportedly fired a shot in a nightclub last week.

On Friday evening, the suspect allegedly fired a shot at the ceiling of the nightclub and threatened patrons with whom he had previously quarreled.

An arrest warrant was issued against him on Sunday. He is accused of causing malicious damage, threatening to use violence and being in possession of a gun.
