Arrest after nine cannabis plants found

A 26-year-old man was arrested after police found nine cannabis plants and cannabis at his home in Limassol on Wednesday evening.

During the search of his house at around 6.30pm members of the drug squad detected the nine cannabis plants, 134 grammes of cannabis, a precision scale, 15 cartridges and €900.

The man is being detained while investigations into the illegal possession of drugs with the intent to supply, the cultivation of cannabis plants and the illegal possession of explosives are ongoing.
