Man arrested in solar panel theft

Limassol police said Wednesday they have arrested a 56-year-old man  on suspicion of stealing solar panels.

Police detained the man on Tuesday after receiving information about a suspicious car in a particular area at around 16:30 yesterday.

Police said officers found thirty solar panels in the 56-year-old’s car. The man did not give satisfactory explanation as to their origin. Further investigation determined he had been wanted in connection with theft.
