Fire burns wild scrub near Droushia

A fire in Paphos burned some four decares of wild shrub and bushes, the fire service said on Saturday.

Reports said the fire started at around 1.10pm in an area between Droushia and Inia and was brought under control some 30 minutes later by firefighters from the forestry department and the fire service.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
