Bomb goes off in Germasoyia, car damaged

A bomb exploded in Germasoyia early Tuesday causing extensive damage to a car belonging to a 46-year-old.

According to the police, the vehicle was parked in the street when the blast went off.

Preliminary tests found out that the explosion was caused by an improvised albeit powerful device.

The scene was closed off for investigation.
