Road works in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia over coming weeks

The department of public works on Wednesday announced road closures in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia.

The tunnel on the Limassol-Paphos motorway will be closed for two weeks due to maintenance works from 8am to 7pm from November 4 to November 15 during weekdays.

Drivers from Paphos will be diverted to the opposite lane between November 4 to November 8 and the same for those from Limassol between November 11 to November 15.

The department also announced road closures in the Nicosia -Limassol highway on November 3 between 6am-8am, due to EAC works.  During the works, all traffic will be stopped by the police for five-minutes at a time during the two hours.

Road maintenance works will also take place in Pouliou Kapota Avenue in Nicosia starting 4pm Saturday until 5pm Monday. The avenue will be closed on both lanes between Panayia Evagelistria church and Toufexi Park.  Traffic will be diverted to Raktivan, Egeou, Kyriakou Matsi and Ayiou Andreou streets.

Road reflectors maintenance will take place Sunday morning at Spyros Kyprianou, Grivas Dighenis, and Archagelos Avenue in Nicosia.

During the works, the right lane will be closed between 7am and 3pm, and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
