Two held on suspicion of human trafficking

Two people, a 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, have been arrested after police officers raided two illegal massage parlours in Nicosia and Limassol on Tuesday as part of an operation against human trafficking, money laundering, and prostitution.

Seven women of various nationalities were found at the apartments raided by officers from three different branches.

They were taken to the anti-trafficking unit for further investigation.

The home and cars of the 39-year-old in Nicosia were also searched as part of the investigation.
