Coronavirus: Two hospitalised patients due to be sent home

Two patients hospitalised with the coronavirus last week are expected to be discharged, the Cyprus News Agency said Monday.

The agency said the pair, who had been hospitalised last Wednesday, will be moved to state-designated venues where they will remain in isolation for 14 days.

Six other patients treated at Famagusta hospital were in good health with their condition improving every day.

Their hospitalisation is precautionary as their symptoms are mild.

A triage facility has been set up at Famagusta hospital to carry out preliminary examination on suspected cases and take samples.

The facility works with appointments throughout the day and if need during the night, provided individuals contact the 1420 hotline first.
