The European University of Cyprus and the Hellenic Open University have signed a cooperation agreement. This strategic cooperation aims at upgrading the quality of the education services offered with special emphasis on joint programs.
The memorandum of cooperation was co-signed by the rector of the European University of Cyprus, Professor Costas Gouliamos, with the president of the Hellenic Open University (EAP), professor Odysseas Zoras.
The signing of the pact marks the common vision of the two academic institutions to respond not only to joint curricula or modern scientific developments, but also to the needs of Greek and Cypriot society.
In a statement, the rector of the European University of Cyprus, professor Costas Guliamos stressed that “the European University of Cyprus and the Hellenic Open University aim through their cooperation to strengthen interdisciplinarity and, at the same time, to disseminate and utilise emblematic scientific society, as they can contribute to the cultural, educational and economic development of Cyprus and Greece.”
