Coronavirus: 10 individuals, four businesses charged

During 24 hours from Wednesday 6am until Thursday 6am police officers booked four premises and 10 individuals who did not comply with measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.

A total of 490 inspections were carried out, 117 in Nicosia, 65 in Limassol, 146 in Larnaca, 108 in the Famagusta district and 54 in the Morphou area.

Two people were fined in Nicosia, one in Limassol, three in Larnaca and four in Famagusta.

In the Morphou district nobody was booked.

Three of the establishments which violated the measures are in Limassol and one is located in Nicosia.
