Three theatrical performances as part of the Kypria International festival were cancelled on Tuesday, following the implementation of emergency measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Nicosia and Limassol.

The education ministry announced the cancellation of the two performances of Aristofanous and Menandrou yonia (corner), scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in Nicosia as well as the performance on Friday in Limassol.

The announcement came after the health ministry announced emergency measures, in force until October 23, following double-digit daily coronavirus cases.

Those who already purchased tickets via Tickethour can contact the company directly for a refund, the ministry said.
