Coronavirus: 30 bookings for violating mask decree

Police booked 28 individuals and two businesses from 1,626 checks in the past 24 hours for violating the mask dictum.

In Nicosia, 219 inspections were carried out with six bookings and in Limassol 315 inspections with two bookings.

In Larnaca, 405 checks were carried out with 14 bookings, while in Paphos, 179 inspections were done with one business and one individual booked.

In the Famagusta district, 424 inspections were carried out with one premises booked and five individuals and in the Morphou area, there were 84 inspections and no bookings.

In addition, fines of €300 were imposed on three people in Paphos for breaking curfew. It is forbidden to move around in public in Paphos, and in Limassol between 11pm and 5am.
