Conference on Digital Ageing Skills by European University

The European University of Cyprus, as coordinator of the European ProADAS Programme (Promotion of Active Digital Ageing Skills), successfully held an online conference on ageing. The conference was attended online by all participating countries in the European programme, the European University Cyprus, Centre for Social Innovation, Diccianove (Italy), E-Seniors (France), Xenios Polis (Greece), Erasmus Hoger school (Brussels) and the Adriatic Ionian Euro region (Croatia).

The conference presented topics related to active ageing by the participating countries of the European Programme ProADAS and by other collaborators of the university. Taking into account new trends and developments in the field of health, as well as the needs of the elderly, the topics of the conference included issues related to mental, social, and physical health and well-being of the elderly with the aim of their active participation in society. The participants in the conference received certification for three hours of training from the Pancyprian Association of Nurses and Midwives.

Coordinator of the European Program ProADAS Erasmus + Project is Maria Prodromou, Assistant Professor, Department of Health Sciences at the European University of Cyprus.
