Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo is bringing his quirky style to socks with a Christmas collaboration with Happy Socks.

Known to millions of fans around the world as Dustin Henderson on Netflix’s star show, 18-year-old Gaten is now branching out into design with his three-piece sock collection for the Swedish label.

“The inspiration behind my sock designs was chaos,” he grinned in a statement. “I want people to look at the designs at giggle.”

The socks, which retail for $16 (£12), feature images of Gaten’s face printed on them, as well as traditional Christmas symbols like baubles, Santa hats, candy canes, and trees. There is also a dancing fox to really inject some fun into the garments.

Sharing the news with his 14 million followers, the actor uploaded some funny photos and told fans: “I had the best time-travelling with @happysocks to capture their Holiday campaign… and guess what? I ALSO designed a gift box with 3 different sock styles in it. Wanna wear my pets on your feet this Christmas? Well, now you know where to find it! HappySocks.com

#HappySocks #HappinessEverywhere #NoTimeLikeThePresent.”

Alongside the socks, the young star also features in a series of videos for the label. Titled No Time Like the Present, Gaten plays characters from different time periods, including the ’40s, ’70s, and ’90s, who opens a box of socks on Christmas Day.

Happy Socks has previously teamed up with Macaulay Culkin and David Hasselhoff.
