Police looking for three men who robbed kiosk

Police are looking for three men who stole the drawer of a cash register from a kiosk in Limassol early on Friday.

The employee of the kiosk told police three men wearing hoods and masks entered at around 3.45am.

One of them held her to prevent her from moving while another took the drawer of the till. The robbers, who also took her mobile phone, then fled in an unknown direction.

A little later, police were notified of a fire in a nearby park.

Officers who put out the fire found the stolen drawer had been wrapped in a cloth and set on fire.

The employee described the perpetrators as young men, between 17 and 20 years old, slender and about 1.70 to 1.80 metres tall.
