Airports operator Hermes said Tuesday it has installed luggage self-tagging machines in Larnaca and Paphos to upgrade the passenger experience further.

In a written statement, Hermes said it has installed Tagomat and Bagomat machines at the airports, allowing passengers to print tags and the drop off their luggage at designated points.

Printing the tag takes less than 10 seconds, Hermes said.

Hermes spokesperson Maria Kouroupi said the company wanted to afford passengers advanced technology services.

“Despite the pandemic and its effects, we will continue to work for the reinforcement and continuous upgrading of the services we offer so that passengers enjoy the best travel experience with safety.”
