Man arrested for shooting woman’s cat

A 47-year old man was remanded for two days by Limassol district court on suspicion of shooting and killing a woman’s cat.

According to a police announcement, the complaint was filed by a woman who said that a little after 3 pm yesterday afternoon as she was in her apartment, she had seen on CCTV the man aiming at the building with a gun.

She rushed out to see what was happening and saw the man aiming and fatally shooting her cat who was on the fence of her apartment.

An arrest warrant was issued, and the man was arrested on Wednesday.

Episkopi police are investigating.
