Man in serious condition after Paphos crash

A 38-year-old man is in critical condition following an accident along the Emba-Tala road in Paphos after he lost control of the car.

According to the police, the accident occurred at 05:55 on Wednesday when the man’s car fell a metre onto a field below the road. After the fall, the car carried on moving until it struck a tree and was later immobilised.

The man was initially taken to Paphos general hospital by ambulance but was later transferred to Nicosia.

He has undergone two surgeries so far and is intubated at Nicosia general hospital.
