Cyprus thrashed by Montenegro in Nations League

Cyprus were beaten 4-0 in Montenegro on Tuesday night in their final Nations League qualifying game.

The heavy defeat sees Cyprus finish bottom of League C’s Group One with four points, meaning they now must win a play-off game to avoid relegation to Group D.

Montenegro top the group on 13 points, with Luxembourg and Azerbaijan second and third respectively
