Painting competition promotes data protection

High school students can participate in a painting competition for the protection of personal data in schools with a prize of up to €300.

The commissioner for personal data protection office in collaboration with the education ministry is organising a painting competition for high school students of private and state schools.

The winner drawing will feature on the front page of the annual report of the commissioner’s office, as well as in other promotional activities.

Members of the commissioner’s office and the education ministry will make up the committee to judge the entries.

Participations must be submitted before December 7.

Students can obtain more information from their school or through the commission’s website at www.dataprotection.gov.cy.
