23 migrants arrive in the Paphos district


A group of 23 Syrian migrants arrived in the Paphos district via the north in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

According to police, the group consists of 19 men, two children and two women.

They were located in a remote area near Tillyria after they travelled by boat from Turkey and crossed from Limnitis into the government-controlled areas.

They are expected to be taken to the reception centre in Kokkinotrimithia after their details have been recorded.
