NYC street seamstress is reducing fast fashion waste

Seamstress Makayla Wray repurposed a hot dog cart and turned it into her mobile tailoring shop.

Surrounded by fast fashion brands and luxury stores in New York’s SoHo district, she mends clothes on the spot to show people their old clothes don’t have to add to the piles of waste created by the fashion industry.
