Coronavirus: north records 20 new cases

Twenty new Covid-19 cases were reported in the north on Wednesday.

In a written statement, ‘health minister’ Ali Pilli said that the new cases were detected from a total of 1,319 tests.

Three were passengers who arrived in the north by plane, 13 through the port and three were contacts of known cases. The remainder were found within the community.

The total number of people infected with Covid-19 in the north stands at 1,223. Six people have died.
