Several communities in Paphos were left without power on Thursday after bad weather caused outages, the electricity company said.

According to the EAC, the villages of Tsada, Stroumbi, Kalepia, Letympou, and Yiolou, were experiencing power cuts since 8am.

It is thought that the cuts were caused by heavy rainfall and lightning strikes in previous days.

Crews have located the fault and were working to repair it.
