Hunters call on people to support small businesses

The United Cyprus Hunters Association, a political party formed in 2018, on Friday launched a campaign to support small businesses which this year are particularly affected by coronavirus measures and decrees.

“We actively support the business community and especially small businesses,” which “have been and continue to be the backbone of the economy,” their announcement said.

“This year, let each of us become the ‘strength’ of the company itself, of every professional who struggles not to be ‘locked down’. These people are fighting, rightly worried about tomorrow and without a ‘way to breathe’.”

With these words, the association called on the public to support the businesses by shopping from small shops and taking a photo, which they should then post with #thesmallbusinesschallenge on social media.

“Tag five of your friends to do the same as you. In this way we will start a chain of help and solidarity for small businesses. All together we can do it, the change is in our hands and not in the hands of others.”
