Man fined for illegally transporting a hunting gun

A 21-year-old man was fined €2,150 on Wednesday in the village of Pachyammos near Paphos for illegally transporting a disassembled hunting gun in his car.

According to a statement released by the police, the man was stopped by officers of the hunting service to search the man’s car.

They found two hunting guns, both disassembled. One was inside a special case, the other was not, which constitutes an offence.
