Boy, 9, suffers broken leg after being hit by car

A nine-year-old boy was hit by a car on Saturday in Paphos suffering a broken leg.

According to police, the boy was crossing the road on Alexandrou Ypsilantis when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a 61-year-old.

The boy suffered a broken leg and was kept for treatment at the paediatric clinic at Paphos General Hospital.

The driver underwent a breathalyser test, which came out negative.
The exact cirsumstances of the accident are being investigated.
