Christmas isn’t Christmas without mince pies. This recipe ticks all the boxes for a quick, tasty treat full of festive flavour… without the buttery pastry casing!
In this variation, roast chestnuts, sour fruits and sweet mincemeat are encased in puff pastry and baked in filo cups until golden and bubbling, topped with a sprinkling of icing sugar and piled high on a plate, serving as a fantastic centre-piece for any Christmas tea.
