Nicosia’s Kennedy Avenue to be asphalted, opened to public

Nicosia Municipality said that work on Kennedy Avenue will be completed with asphalting of the road surface over the weekend and it will then be open to traffic on Monday.

In an announcement, the municipality said the section from the junction with Nikis Avenue to Stasinou street will be closed from 6am on Saturday to 6am on Monday.

Traffic will be diverted as follows: from Nikis Avenue to Limassol Avenue on Rigas Fereos, Esperidon, Armenias, Ifigenias and Stasinou streets and from Limassol Avenue to Nikis Avenue on Stasinou, Ifigenias and Armenias streets.

Kennedy Avenue will be open to traffic at 6am on Monday with temporary markings. Drivers are urged to be careful.
