Coronavirus: 127 people, three businesses charged

Police booked 127 individuals and three businesses from Sunday until Monday to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

In total, 10,653 checks were carried out, 3,177 in Nicosia, 2,788 in Limassol, 1,104 in Larnaca, 1,051 in Paphos, 920 in Famagusta and 683 in Morphou.

A total of 30 individuals were booked in Nicosia, 32 in Limassol, 10 in Larnaca, 16 in Paphos, 23 in Famagusta and six in Morphou.

Traffic police conducted 889 inspections, and marine police 11. As a result, 10 people were fined.
