Highlining over waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest

Always exercise responsibly and safely. Ideally under the guidance of a trained fitness and/or medical professional, who can match the exercise or sports regimen to your present level of fitness.

Highlining grew out of a similar extreme sport known as slacklining. In each activity, participants attempt to walk down spans of nylon webbing strung between two points.

But while slacklines are hung just a few feet off of the ground, highlines are suspended dozens or even hundreds of feet in the air, elevating the risk of falling and injuries commensurately. In other words… highlining is definitely not a sport for the fainthearted!

In this GoPro-sponsored video, the ante is upped even further, as we witness the heart-pumping feat of highlining across waterfalls in America’s Pacific Northwest.
