OUC awarded the Erasmus charter for higher education

Erasmus+

The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) has been awarded the new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period 2021-2027, following the successful evaluation (100/100 score) of its relevant application by the European Commission. The award of ECHE is important for the university’s internationalisation agenda, in particular because it supports the implementation of quality student and staff mobility and multilateral cooperation with foreign universities and research centres.

The Erasmus charter sets the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities, which can be carried out in the context of the Erasmus+ programme by a higher education institution. ECHE is a prerequisite for all higher education institutions located in countries participating in the programme, wishing to apply for the various calls of Erasmus+, including mobility actions, multilateral projects, networks and other capacity building projects.
