Police on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with the possession of illegal drugs with intent to supply in Nicosia.
Members of the drug squad stopped and searched the 34-year-old man at around 4pm in an area in Nicosia.
According to police, he was carrying a bag containing 300 grammes of cannabis and €4,310.
He was arrested and is being detained while the drug squad is investigating.
