Kiosk robbed in Limassol

Police are investigating the robbery of a kiosk in Limassol which occurred on Sunday evening.

According to a police statement, a man wearing a hood entered the kiosk at 10.45pm and attacked the employee.

He forced her to hand over the cash from the register and to open the safe, from where he took more money before he fled in an unknown direction.

Police officers examined the scene in a bid to identify the perpetrator.
