How a rehabbed little raccoon keeps her human family ties

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

In this video, we meet little Rockette, a baby raccoon rescued and fostered by her human family at the height of the pandemic, where trained rehab help through official shelters was not available.

But thanks to the love and creativity of her human family, Rockette has now moved on to making her own way in the ‘wild’… that is, until evening time, when she’s back to check in with the household that still holds her in their hearts.
