Pensioner on remand after drugs found

A 68-year-old woman from Limassol was remanded in custody for six days on Saturday in connection with possession of cannabis and cocaine.

The woman was arrested on Friday after drug squad officers found 34 grammes of cannabis and four grammes of cocaine.

The drugs were packed in plastic bags found in the kitchen.

Officers also found a precision scale with traces of cannabis and cocaine, as well as €950 in cash.
