Two arrested over Nicosia thefts

Arrest

Police on Sunday arrested two people aged 32 and 36 suspected of stealing a television and other items in Nicosia.

They were searched following a tip off informing police they were likely to steal from a certain place in Nicosia on Sunday afternoon.

Officers found they were in possession of a television, cut cables and some copper which are believed to have been stolen from the said premises.

The suspects are being detained pending further investigations.
