Coronavirus: Two businesses, 161 individuals reported

Police fined 161 individuals and two businesses for flouting coronavirus protocols from Monday until Tuesday at 6.00am.

In Nicosia police carried out 2,233 checks reporting 14 individuals, while in Limassol  82 individuals and one business owner was reported from 2,839 checks. Twenty three individuals were reported in Larnaca out of 1,660 checks while 19 were reported in Paphos from a total of 739 checks.

In Famagusta, police carried out 1,423 checks with 18 people and one business owner reported and in Morphou they carried out 918 checks with two persons reported.

The Traffic Department carried out 656 checks charging three individuals while the Port and Marine Police carried out 140 checks without issuing any fines.
