Live music… on the pavement

rembetiki fa trias 2

Desperate times call for desperate measures. And some hospitality venues have had to find alternative solutions to survive. Kafeneio Valitsa, a small café-bar on Trikoupi street, has spread just a handful of tables on the surrounding pavements to be able to operate. Inside, no more than 10 tables can fit yet in the pre-corona days, they were enough for people to gather for a drink and listen to some live music.

To bring back some live music to the café-bar, Valitsa is hosting a music performance this weekend… on the pavement.

Tables will be set up around the bar and Greek music trio Rembetiki Fa Trias will perform a live set this Sunday. Anna Mosfili, Marios Georgiou and Michalis Cherides will once again visit Kafeneio Valitsa to play Greek rembetiko songs.

The premise is rather simple, just like the kafeneio itself. Valitsa has always been about simplicity from its menu to its set-up and so this upcoming event will simply attempt to bring back some live music at its venue.

Rembetiki Fa Trias
