minute

Where do you live?
I live in Limassol, and as the most Lemesians say ‘the most beautiful town’, five minutes from the sea.

What did you have for breakfast?
Oats with peanut butter, chia seeds and banana. Oh, and a strong black coffee

Describe your perfect day
An early morning walk by the sea, watching the beautiful sun rise with a cup of coffee. Then spend the rest of the day at my favourite room, my craft room, the ‘Smili’s corner’ as I call it!

Best book ever read?
Lately, I have read the book Υπάρχουν Άγγελοι (There are Angels) by Stavros Kyprianou. The strong message that comes from this is the importance of being an Organ Donor and give people that have suffered for years a second chance to live a quality life.

Best childhood memory?
Playing with my sister and other kids in the neighbourhood, literally, in the middle of the street, and my mum calling us from the balcony to get home for dinner. Extremely beautiful years!

What is always in your fridge?
As a vegan person, there is always soya/almond milk, plant-based products, vegetables and, of course, lots of tofu!!!

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
I am old fashioned in music terms. I listen to Eros Ramazzotti. I don’t understand a word of Italian, but I like the rhythm and the music.

What’s your spirit animal?
For me it’s the dog. A loyal, forever friend that loves unconditionally.

What are you most proud of?
Leaving my ‘well-paid’ job at the bank to do what I love and enjoy the most.

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
The scene from Green Mile, where John Coffey was on death row (after being falsely accused) and admitted that he actually wanted to die when he realised how cruel the world was. He also asked not to have the hood on because he was terrified of the dark. Strong scene.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Julie Andrews. I’ve watched The Sound of Music about a million times

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
I’d like to travel 100 years in the future. The human intervention on the environment is changing the planet’s balance and climate, so I’m very curious of how world will turn out

What is your greatest fear?
Losing people I love.

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
The best is yet to come. Work hard on doing what you love the most.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
If he couldn’t stand living with pets in the house

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
Ideally, I wouldn’t like to know it 🙂 But I would spend it with my family, recalling memories, laughing, drinking lots of wine and eating our favourite food.
