Teenagers charged after 200 firecrackers seized in Larnaca

Two teenage boys found with over 200 firecrackers and a flare in Larnaca were charged in writing on Sunday.

According to police, the boys, aged 13 were spotted around 4pm on Saturday by officers who were patrolling Oroklini village.

They found the boys had 220 crackers and a flare, likely to be used for the Easter bonfire. The explosives were seized while the teenagers were charged in writing in the presence of their parents.

Oroklini police continues investigations.
