Sloths: the extreme life of the slowest mammal on earth

As many of us know… sloths are the slowest mammal on the planet. Yet, as strange as they seem, sloths are perfectly adapted to their environment and are actually slow for a very important reason.

In fact, sloths are far from boring and a lot more extreme than it initially appears.

For example, other than carrying a veritable ecosystem of creatures in their fur, some of which scientists believe may even be capable of curing cancer – they risk their lives to poop, and when they do, they make it count, eliminating over 30 per cent of their body weight!
